About Me
My name is Jeffrey Feinberg. I am a mold professional with nearly 20 years of experience in industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, and environmental health. I have an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, a Master's Degree in Public Health, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Additionally, I am a Florida licensed mold assessor and currently work full-time in North Florida providing mold-related services.
I first got interested in mold and indoor air quality in 2006 when I was attending graduate school at the University of Texas Health Science Center. During my graduate studies and subsequent thesis work was the first time I realized and saw firsthand the impact that poor indoor air quality can have on your health and well-being. It was then I also began to realize that it was an industry that was primarily built upon fear mongering and inaccurate information. I was fortunate that early in my career I was mentored by some very knowledgeable, honest, and ethical professionals who did things the right way. So, my goal is to carry on that tradition by empowering others with knowledge and by providing honest and ethical mold services.
So, check out my mold blog, hopefully you will find the information there useful. If there is a mold or indoor air quality topic you would like information on but do not see here, please reach out to me and I will do my best to address it in a future post.

Testimonials
I contacted Jeffrey (North Florida Mold Consulting) regarding a mold concern in my residence. Jeffrey promptly and amicably responded, demonstrating a clear understanding of my issue, and outlining the services he could offer. He conducted a comprehensive inspection of my home, explaining his findings and suggesting additional measures to prevent future problems. I appreciate Jeffrey's thoroughness and willingness to provide extra guidance beyond my initial inquiry. The detailed inspection report he provided will serve as a valuable reference for me. I'm grateful to have discovered his services online.

My husband and I recently hired North Florida Mold Consulting to do testing in our home and we could not have been more pleased with their in-depth level of analysis and service. The professionalism and insight that Jeffrey provided was by far above and beyond what other companies we had talked to offered, and at a far more reasonable rate. Additionally, it was clear that he had a lot of experience and really took pride in his work and in being thorough and thoughtful with everything. He had knowledge of all different kinds of molds and their sources, testing methods, and overall knew a great deal about healthy vs. unhealthy indoor environments. With my husband and I not knowing much about the mold testing process, Jeffrey explained everything in terms that we could understand and he was really patient and helpful in answering all of our questions. We felt comfortable and informed along the way. 10/10 I will definitely recommend him to anyone I know who needs similar testing done. We got the test results back very quickly and Jeffrey gave us a thorough explanation of all the results. We are relieved to know we have very low spore counts in our home and there are no obvious indicators of current mold growth.

We recommend North Florida Mold Consulting LLC (Jeffrey Feinberg) for mold and air quality assessment for your home or office. He is qualified, thorough, thoughtful, and prompt. He spent an afternoon at our home examining every nook and cranny of the house and attic, pulled up carpet, scrutinized filters and vents. Inside and outside. With his specialized equipment, he tested air samples for a variety of fungi, spores, and pollen. He gave us a complete record of his findings with explanation as needed.
It was a pleasure to work with this professional.
